It combines the sporty DNA of the Pasha—defined by its screw-down crown cap—with a practical GMT complication.
Q: How does the GMT function work? A: The watch is equipped with a fourth hand (the GMT hand) which points to the 24-hour scale engraved on the fixed bezel. This allows the wearer to read the time in a second time zone simultaneously, making it an ideal companion for travel.
Q: How do I operate the crown? A: The Pasha is famous for its 'cantine' style crown protection. To set the time, you must first unscrew the large outer cap (set with a blue spinel cabochon) which hangs on a chain. This reveals the smaller, functional crown inside used for winding and setting the watch.
Q: Is this watch automatic or quartz? A: This model is powered by the Cartier Calibre 048, a reliable self-winding automatic movement based on the Swiss ETA 2893-2. It uses the natural motion of your wrist to wind the mainspring and features a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.
