Q: What typically fits inside the Balenciaga First bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 32 × 17 × 5 cm, it comfortably carries daily essentials such as a smartphone, small wallet, keys, sunglasses, and a few cosmetics. An A5 diary or slim e‑reader may fit, but a standard water bottle or full‑size tablet is not ideal. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Can I wear this bag crossbody?
A: This piece includes a detachable shoulder strap with an approximate 20 cm drop. It is designed for shoulder or hand carry; most people find the strap too short for true crossbody wear. If you prefer crossbody, a strap extender may help, but it is not included.

Q: How does the First compare to the City?
A: The First is the more compact silhouette from Balenciaga’s classic Motorcycle line. It’s lighter and suited to essentials, whereas the City offers a roomier, slouchier everyday size. If you pack light and want a neat shoulder bag, the First is the right choice; if you need more capacity, consider the City.

Q: What leather is used on vintage First bags, and how does it wear?
