A: It is a limited-edition reinterpretation of the classic Speedy 30 from Spring/Summer 2007, featuring a lace-inspired embroidery over Monogram canvas. The Dentelle came in two lace tones often referred to as Argent (silver) and Or (gold) and was produced in the 30 size.

Q: What are the dimensions and how is it carried?
A: Approx. 30 × 22 × 18 cm with a handle drop of about 11 cm. This model is designed to be handheld via the dual rolled leather handles and does not come with a shoulder strap.

Q: What typically fits inside a Speedy 30?
A: A full-size wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch, a 500–600 ml water bottle, and a small tablet or paperback. Capacity varies with organisers and how you pack—please see the Measurements on this page for exact sizing.

Q: Does the Dentelle embroidery require special care?
A: Yes. Avoid rough surfaces and sharp jewellery that could snag the embroidered threads. For the coated canvas, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. The Vachetta leather is natural and will darken over time; keep it dry, avoid oils/chemicals, and store in a cool, ventilated place away from direct sunlight. Stuff lightly and keep in a breathable dust bag to maintain shape.

Q: What does the date code SP1027 indicate?
A: SP denotes a French workshop. For codes from 2007 onwards, the first and third digits indicate the production week and the second and fourth digits the year. SP1027 corresponds to the 12th week of 2007 in France.

Q: Is the Dentelle version more structured than the regular Monogram Speedy?
A: Many collectors note the Dentelle Speedy uses a caramel-toned Vachetta and feels slightly firmer than the standard Monogram Speedy, helping it hold its shape a bit better. A base shaper or organiser can further support structure if desired.

Q: Can I add a shoulder strap to this bag?
A: The classic Speedy 30 does not have strap attachments. If you prefer a shoulder or crossbody option, look for Bandoulière versions of the Speedy, which are made with built-in D-rings and a detachable strap. We do not recommend modifications that could stress the handles or hardware.

A: External condition is Very Good with a developed Vachetta patina and light scuffing at the corners. Internally it is Good with some small stains on the lining. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review all photos for details.
