Q: What typically fits inside the Trouville?
A: With approximate dimensions of 28 × 20 × 11 cm, it comfortably holds a smartphone, long wallet, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch and travel essentials like a passport. An A5 notebook or a small tablet (e.g., iPad mini) may fit depending on the case. Full‑size tablets, A4 documents or laptops will not fit. Q: Can the Trouville be worn on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: The classic Trouville is designed as a handheld, top‑handle bag. It does not come with a factory shoulder strap or dedicated strap D‑rings. Some owners attach third‑party straps to the handles, but this may stress the hardware and is not recommended for heavy loads.

Q: Is the Murakami Multicolore Trouville still in production?
A: No. Takashi Murakami’s Multicolore line launched in 2003 and was discontinued in 2015. Multicolore pieces like this Trouville are now considered vintage and are available only on the pre‑owned market.

A: Both share a structured, vanity‑style silhouette with an exterior front pocket. The Deauville is larger and was conceived as a travel/beauty case; the Trouville is the more compact, everyday version that’s easier to carry and organise for daily essentials.

A: Yes, while the coated canvas is durable, the light background can pick up dye from dark denim and other richly dyed fabrics. Wipe the canvas with a soft, slightly damp cloth, avoid alcohol‑based products or harsh cleaners, and store it away from items that may rub off colour.

A: Vachetta is an untreated, vegetable‑tanned leather that naturally develops a honey patina. Avoid water, oils and prolonged sunlight to minimise spots and uneven darkening. Handle with clean, dry hands and store in a breathable dust bag. Light surface dirt can be gently wiped with a soft, barely damp cloth; avoid harsh chemicals and over‑conditioning.

A: Trouville bags have a date code indicating production location and date. On Alcantara‑lined versions, it is often stamped directly into the lining along a seam or on a small leather tab inside a pocket.
