Q: How does the closure on this brooch work?
A: It uses a two‑part magnetic fastening. Place the V motif on the outside of your garment and the separate magnet plate on the inside; they attract through the fabric to hold the brooch securely without piercing the material.

Q: Will the magnet hold on all fabrics (from silk blouses to wool coats)?
A: Magnetic hold depends on fabric thickness. It is ideal on light‑to‑medium fabrics such as shirts, knitwear and blazers. On very thick or padded coats the grip may weaken; test before wearing and, if needed, place it across a seam or use an additional backing magnet for extra hold. For very delicate weaves, the magnetic style is gentler than pins, but avoid dragging the brooch across the fabric.

Q: Is it safe to wear if I have a pacemaker or implantable defibrillator (ICD)?
