A: Unlike a traditional date window commonly found at 3 o'clock, the Big Date feature is positioned at 6 o'clock and utilises two independent discs to display the date digits. This allows for a much larger, more legible display, combining technical sophistication with a balanced dial layout.
Q: Is this watch automatic or quartz? A: This timepiece is powered by a reliable Cartier automatic (self-winding) movement. It is driven by the kinetic motion of your wrist and does not require a battery. To ensure optimal performance, it typically has a power reserve of approximately 42 hours when fully wound.
Q: What is the purpose of the chained crown cap? A: One of the most iconic design elements of the Pasha de Cartier is the screw-down crown cap, secured to the case by a small chain link. Originally designed to ensure water tightness, this cap unscrews to reveal the small winding crown underneath, protecting it from water and impact.

However, as this is a vintage piece from 2005, we cannot guarantee the original factory rating without a current pressure test. In order to request a return, please email [email protected] with your order number and state ”return request” in your email. From there, our Customer Support will confirm that your return request has been approved and further instructions will be provided by email.
